Queen's Park
Northeast of Bridgetown, home to one of the largest trees in the Caribbean, the 51 foot round (not tall) Baobab, brought here in 1738.

Queen's Park
Formerly the residence of the commander of British forces in the Caribbean, it was returned to Barbadian people early in the 20th century and opened to the public as a park in 1909. The park is home to the Baobab, one of the largest and oldest trees in the islands. The “Baobab” is a native tree of Africa, however, and no one sure how it came to grown here.
